Bio-Rad
Dry-block microplate incubator with precise ±0.5°C temperature control — uniform, homogeneous incubation for up to four plates simultaneously.
Key Features
The Bio-Rad IPS is a dry-block microplate incubator designed to maintain a constant, homogeneous temperature inside the wells of a microplate during EIA incubation steps. It holds up to four 96-well microplates simultaneously, requires no water bath, and eliminates edge effects — ensuring consistent results across every well on every plate.
Complementary Equipment: The IPS Incubator works as part of the Bio-Rad ELISA platform alongside the EVOLIS™ Automated EIA System, the PW 42 Microplate Washer, and the PR 4100 Microplate Reader.
Applications
Precise temperature control during incubation steps is critical for sensitivity and specificity in all EIA-based assays.
HIV, HBsAg, HCV, Syphilis — consistent 37°C incubation for optimal antigen-antibody binding kinetics
ANA, Anti-dsDNA, ENA profiling — uniform plate temperature eliminates well-to-well variability
High-capacity 4-plate simultaneous incubation supports high-throughput donor screening batches
Essential incubation station for laboratories running manual ELISA protocols at 37°C or room temperature
Controlled temperature step for secondary antibody and conjugate incubation — reduces non-specific binding
Open platform — suitable for any assay requiring controlled-temperature microplate incubation (30–40°C range)
